How are therapists vetted?
Every NPI is automatically checked against the federal NPPES registry to confirm it's real and matches the therapist's name and discipline. This confirms identity and discipline - it does not confirm current state license status, which clinics should still verify independently. Marketplace applicants also go through admin review before their profile goes live.
How does the AI matching work?
AI never picks who's eligible - distance, discipline, declared availability, and real booked-schedule conflicts are checked first with plain logic. Only after that hard filtering does AI rank the remaining shortlist for overall fit; it can reorder that list but can never add someone who didn't already qualify.
