HIPAA Compliance & Security

PracticeManagerPlatform.com maintains an active HIPAA compliance program covering the privacy and security of protected health information (PHI) we handle on behalf of our customers. Our program includes:

• Documented HIPAA privacy, security, and breach notification policies, reviewed and maintained on an ongoing basis
• Mandatory HIPAA and security awareness training for all employees with access to PHI
• Signed Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with vendors and subprocessors who handle PHI
• An internal incident response plan, with staff trained and attested on response procedures
• Regular risk assessments to identify and remediate security gaps
