Fax and email

Fax or email physicians and insurers without leaving the chart.

Send evaluations, plans of care, and claim forms straight from the patient's chart, by fax or by email. No fax machine, no printing, and no separate fax line.

What you can do

Everything goes out from one place

Fax or email, your choice

Pick whichever the recipient actually uses. Both work the same way, right on the document.

Physicians and insurers on file

Choose a physician or insurer and the fax number or email address already on file is filled in. Or type any number or address.

A cover note and as many attachments as you need

Add a note, which becomes a real cover page on a fax, and attach extra PDFs such as a referral, a signed order, or your own cover letter. The attachments are listed on the cover page.

Your most important documents

Evaluations, plans of care, and CMS-1500 claim forms can all be sent from the chart.

Replies come back to you

Email replies go to your clinic's address, and faxes sent to you land in one inbox where you file them into the patient's documents.

A record of everything

See every fax and email that went out, which channel it used, and whether it went through.

How it works

Three steps, and it's sent

Open the document

On an evaluation, plan of care, or claim form, click Fax or Email.

Choose who gets it

Pick a physician or insurer on file, or enter any number or address. Add a note and any PDFs you want to go along with it.

Send, then track it

The communication log shows what went out and whether it went through.

A clinic can also have its own dedicated fax number, so faxes go out under your clinic's number. Prefer to skip the fax? Give the physician online access instead, and they review and sign evaluations and plans of care there. One account covers every clinic they work with.
